SSM Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Community Description: About SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health: Hospital Description: SLUCare Physician Group, the academic medical practice of SSM Health in the St. Louis region, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Division of Child Psychiatry at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. This is an academic faculty position that combines inpatient and ED consult-liaison psychiatry and outpatient care , supporting children and adolescents with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. The role also advances the educational mission of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, with opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows. Key Responsibilities Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services for pediatric inpatients and ED Deliver outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents Participate in a shared call schedule Contribute to the teaching and mentorship of trainees (students, residents, fellows) Engage in academic activities, including research and scholarly work, as desired Collaborate within a multidisciplinary pediatric care team Position Highlights Full-time academic faculty appointment at Saint Louis University School of Medicine Balanced clinical workload with a manageable mix of inpatient consults and outpatient care Integrated practice environment with hospital and outpatient offices on the same campus Shared call model supporting work-life balance EPIC electronic medical record system Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
